FAQ’s - Here is a few that I often come across....
How long after my wedding will I receive my photos?
Depending on the season, I usually take 4-6 weeks to get all of your photos back to you. Sometimes even less! You will be sent sneak peeks regularly as I edit too! I put them on a USB and in separated folders for easy viewing. All photos will be in high resolution so you can easily print off as many as you would like for fam and friends.
We are awkward in front of the camera. We don't like having our photos taken OR my fiancee, gets nervous.
Don't worry. I do too! You would be surprised at how good you can look on my camera, when you are relaxed and having fun. Many of my couples in the past have told me that I made them feel comfy, and that it didn't even feel like a photo shoot. I try and get to know you, have a joke around with you, and play silly games that make you laugh and smile. Those natural moments are SO much better than posing anyway!
How many photos do you take?
It depends on your coverage and how many hours of photography you require for the day. You will usually get 100 photos per hour roughly.
How do I secure a date?
Send me an email firstly and I will confirm my availability to you on the same day. I can hold a tentative booking for 1 week if needed. To secure your date, a 25% (non-refundable) deposit is required. You don’t need to pay your balance until 1 week before the big day.
Do you charge for travel?
I will travel anywhere on the Gold Coast, Brisbane and Byron Bay at no extra charge. Sunshine Coast and Northern NSW will incur a small travelling fee.
Do your photos have logo’s on them?
No, the photos that you will receive have no logo’s and are completely owned by you. I only put my logo (watermarks) on photos that I upload to the internet and my website, for copyright protection purposes.
Can we meet with you to discuss our wedding?
Absolutely! I am based on the Gold Coast near Burleigh but am happy to travel to you. Lets grab a coffee, or even better, a wine!
What camera equipment do you use?

Do you only shoot weddings?
Weddings are definitely my favorite, but I also shoot engagements, family portraits, maternity portraits, newborns and pets! Send me an email for inquirys.
Do you do Engagement Shoots?
Yes! I love to take photos of a newly engaged couple. This is a great thing too as it can help you to feel comfortable, and get to know your photographer, in preparation for your wedding day. You also get some great pics to treasure forever!
How does a typical day Wedding Day run in regards to photos?
Each wedding is different, but these are the guidelines:
Bride and Groom Preparation:
I usually start shooting the boys getting ready. Boys are much easier as they don’t have a strict hair and makeup schedule to follow so we can work this around the girls. Shots include details (shoes, rings, cufflinks etc.), candid getting ready shots, having a beer shots, and some posed portraits once they are ready.
Then to the girls. I will time the arrival as the finishing touches of hair and make up, and shoot details and getting ready shots, then some beautiful portraits of the bride, bridesmaids and the family.
If both parties are in the same location/hotel, this is easy, I will move between both places.
I will leave 20 minutes before the bride so that I can arrive early at the wedding location to shoot some photos of the location, the guests, the nervous groom, and prepare for the brides arrival.
All shots are candid and natural. You wont even know that I am there. I will (discreetly) whiz around and shoot everything I possibly can of your ceremony whilst capturing the best and most important moments… (Aisle walk, grooms tears when he sees his bride, rings and that kiss.)“I now pronounce you…..”!
After the ceremony, I will shoot the congratulations and the hugs and kisses and laughter. When everyone is ready, we can then shoot some family portraits.
Before the day, I will usually take details of important family members, the shots you require and everyone’s names so that I can call them out as we go. This helps it run smoothly as guests usually start to wander off in search of drinks!
We will then proceed to the location for some beautiful photos of the bridal party and the intimate bride and groom photos. Feel free to have a drink and relax, enjoying your time together while no one else is around. I will be capturing the beautiful moments between the newly married couple and will give direction when needed. If you’re up for it, we can take a couple of muck around shots too, just for fun…
Usually allow 60-90 minutes for photos, ensuring that you factor in travelling time if there are distances between locations. I will always check the sunset times too, because sunset photos are the best!
After your grand entry, I will continue to shoot candid shots of you and your guests, as well as all of the details of your wedding. If you require Full Reception Coverage, I will continue to shoot everything right up until the farewells at the end of the night. And thats a wrap!
